July update

The weather has been somewhat changeable – but at least the roses are doing exceptionally well and we hope you are too.

We want to remind you of your next Zoom lecture on 8th July when our friend, Peter Scott, will look at our far-flung costal art colonies such as Newlyn, St Ives, Walberswick, Staithes and Cullercoats and their subsequent development in the twentieth century with “Painting at the Edge : British Artists’ Coastal Colonies”.

We would also like to remind you of our 9th September lecture “A Garden like No Other: Edward James and Las Posas”.This colourful lecture tells the story of Edward James’ Mexican garden.

In addition, on Thursday 16th September we are holding a Special Interest Event (via Zoom) with Linda Smith entitled “Great Tarts in Art”. This will be 2 one-hour lectures with a 20 minute break 10.30 – 12.50.

We are at present unable to confirm our future venue – Hersham Village Hall continues to be a Covid Test Centre. However, All Saints has undergone some refurbishment and continues to improve the facilities.

We hope to see you again soon.
