Thursday 25 February: British Library and Wellcome Collection

British Library

In the morning we have a guided tour of the British Library, the national library of the UK. We will see some of the world’s earliest printed books, Captain Cook’s journals, a copy of the Magna Carta, and more…

In the afternoon we have a tour of the Wellcome Collection to see their fascinating galleries devoted to Man and Medicine.

 

Thursday 21 April: Kings Cross Regeneration

Kings Cross Sixty-seven acres of a former Goods Yard behind Kings Cross Station is being transformed into a stunning new district for London.

After lunch we will take a trip on the Regents Canal from Camden, through Regents Park, to London Zoo and Little Venice.

 

 

Thursday 21 July: Borde Hill House and Garden

Borde Hill House A Sussex Tudor house dating back to 1534, set in 200 acres of award-winning gardens with spectacular views over the Sussex High Weald

 

Thursday 20 October 2015: City Regeneration after the Fire of London

Bevis Marks Synagogue To coincide with the 350th anniversary of the Fire of London, we will take a tour with a Blue Badge guide to explore The Bevis Marks Synagogue, and a Hawksmoor church, and follow the landmarks of the fire and its regeneration.
